The seminar is designed for shelter staff to learn more about caring for the behavioral health of their animals. Subjects covered will include:
- Intake and adoptions from a behavior perspective
- Reading dog and cat body language
- Stress recognition and reduction
- Behavioral and environmental enrichment
- Understanding agression in dogs
- Canine behavior evaulations
- Feline behavior evaluations
- How animals learn
- Training and behavior modification in the shelter
