  Description of Seminar/Conference

This workshop is geared to anyone who works with dogs or other animals, has clients -- and wants to learn how to use social media to help their business grow! Social media marketing explained simply and thoroughly by a pro!

In 2007, Eric Goebelbecker, launched his first website online for his
business. He spent a year redesigning it and several thousand dollars in on and off-line advertising sending out press releases -- but he saw virtually no business from the web or online.

Then, in 2009, he started using social media. The changes were dynamic.

In this workshop, Eric will show you how he used social media and blogging to help his business grow, and how you can use it to help yours. He'll also give you tips on what information to put on your website to engage customers so that it becomes a go-to place for information. This is a workshop you and your business can't afford to miss!

Eric will discuss:

  • What exactly is social media and what makes it so special?
  • What makes social media so normal?
  • Why you should fit social media into your marketing plans.
  • How you use social media to better serve your existing clients.
  • Using photos, YouTube and Facebook to build your business.
  • How to use social media without it taking up too much of your time.
  • How to get several hundred unique visitors to your site every day.
  • How to get more clients than your part-time business can handle.
  • How to come to the attention of veterinarians in your area.
  • How to get opportunities to give classes in various locations.
  • How to network with colleagues around the world.

Q&A at end of workshop.
