Whether it is a puppy or adolescent, there is so much to be learned. This seminar covers how to create an individual comprehensive plan as well as the specifics of building a strong, confident, Nose Work dog from the foundation up. As the sport of K9 Nose Work has gained in popularity, the quest for the youngest, fastest, breed-specific prodigy had begun with efforts to improve efficiency, scores, and training goals. For the young dog, there are factors to consider that may best support the well-being and behavioral development of the dog along with your Nose Work goals. Amy will share her views on what steps to take for success as well as the pitfalls and shortcuts that can plague a team throughout their Nose Work careers. This seminar looks at the approach employed in the spirit of K9 Nose Work for the young dog.
