This is an intermedite learning theory course which will explain how behaviors develop and increase, often accidentally, through the processes of extinction bursts and spontaneous recovery. Ken will give examples and discuss how to change behavior using this natural phenomenon. You’ll also learn how to measure the changes as you go through your behavior modification program and how to explain the process to clients. Ken recommends that, in conjunction with this course, you should also take “Understanding Antecedent Stimuli: An examination of learning theory from the ‘front end”;” to increase your understanding of how we learn and how the environment facilitates behavior. |
