  Description of Seminar/Conference

  • Working on almost every exercise connected to controlling and having fun with your dog!
  • Problem solving, sensible coaching by an expert in the field, learning a high standard of training, and progressing towards building a solid working relationship with your dog as a team.
  • An introduction to all aspects of Working Trials covering every exercise in Companion Dog (CD), Utility Dog (UD), Working Dog (WD), and Tracking Dog (TD) stakes.

Participants enrolling with canines must have a reliable recall and a retrieve on their dog as exercises will involve learning, training, and practicing:

1.)Nose Work - (tracking, retrieve, and search squares)
2.)Agility - (3' hurdle/bar jump, 9' long jump, and 6' vertical scale jump)
3.)Obedience - (in/out of sight stay, free/on lead heel, and recall exercises)
4.)Advanced Control - (position/redirection send away, steadiness to a gun shot, and speak on command).

Auditors are welcome and strongly encouraged as 2011 is John
Rogerson's final USA tour.

No matter your specific field of interest in the dog world, this event is a must see for all canine enthusiasts! Maximum of 20 dog/team handlers per day and a number of non-working auditors.

Seminar runs 9:30A - 4:00P daily
