Description of Seminar/Conference
	Turid Rugaas, renowned for her work with dogs on calming signals, nose work, and natural method of dog training will be offering a certified dog training course in the U.S. This is a thorough certification course that covers many topics including: *stress, fear, and aggression *communication *problem solving *puppy, adolescent, mature dogs *instruction and consultations *learning behavior *nutrition and much much more The education is a 28 day full on immersion training divided in 7 sessions of 4 day intervals, spread over a year and a half period. All units are taught by Turid herself, and Anne Lill Kvam for Nose Work. An exam and practical session at the end of the training will allow for certification. Due to the limited number of participants allowed (20 total), commitment to complete the 7 sessions is required. The mission of the training is to promote ethical options in dog care, a better understanding of dog behavior, and why problems arise and what to do to resolve them. Anyone who is involved with canines whether as a career or in one\'s own home, and who desires to better his/her relationship with this unique and special species is invited to apply for attendance. The dates are: 2018 March 15-18 May 17-20 June 21-24 October 11-14 December 6-9 2019 March 14-17 May 30- June 2 Registration Details - 28 days, all sessions run Thursday- Sunday, 9AM- 5PM The course must be taken in its entirety, individual sessions are not offered Price: $3500, a discounted price of $3250 is offered if paid in full by October 31, 2017A non-refundable deposit of $800 is required at the time of booking to hold a spot and all course fees must be paid by January 15, 2018 Class size is limited to 20 people
