This is a 5-day “hands-on” dog trainer certification course taught by Joel Silverman, for the JSDT1 certification.
- Essential basic behaviors - elevated areas, sit, stay, lie down, heel, and come
- Students will work with 3-5 untrained dogs, and get the chance to teach the behaviors from scratch. Every student has their hands on every dog at every stage!
- Problem solving - jumping, barking, lunging, and aggression

- Dog training styles/ behavioral theory/ understanding animal behavior
