  Description of Seminar/Conference

This seminar will provide information on how the canine body works, and what we can do to improve performance and keep our dogs healthy and injury-free. It covers

  • the importance of structure to performance
  • locomotion
  • keeping your athlete in peak condition
  • when things go wrong - common injuries, how to recognize them
  • complementary and alternative therapies for healing and improving performance
  • canine rehabilitation
  • conditions involving joints, bones, muscle
  • supplements and the performance dog
  • jump training, biomechanics of jumping, styles of jumping and when dogs use them and jumping problems

This will be of interest to the performance event people, pet people, and vet techs. This seminar is highly interactive and provides ample opportunity for attendees and their dogs to participate in structure and gait analysis.

This is limited to a total of 60 people with 30 working spots available. For more information visit the website under K9 Connections for the Flyer.
