Amy Shojai is an IAABC certified animal behavior consultant (cats and dogs) and a nationally recognized pet care expert. She is the award-winning author of 26 best-selling nonfiction books ( that cover furry babies to old-fogies, first aid to natural healing, and behavior/training to Chicken Soup-icity.

Amy is a reinvented writer. She's a proud member of hybrid authors, having first published more than a dozen books via an agent with winning book proposals to traditional publishing, and then kindle-ized her backlist and released original titles as a self-published indie author. Amy remains open to all current and future publishing opportunities. She's voiced/produced her own audio books and currently works with an author tribe of forward-thinking writers at Cool Gus Publishing.

As a successful niche writer, Amy published thousands of columns and articles spanning the past two decades. In dog years she should be dead!
